Welcome To Elite Naturopathy

Why see a naturopath?

If you really want to get on top of your health, it's important to understand the root cause of why you have become unwell. A naturopath spends a lot of time investigating all areas of your health including digestive health, immune function, nutritional status, medical history, diet, lifestyle and stress response in order to provide you with a suitable treatment plan.

Sports Nutrition

Sports nutrition and supplementation can greatly improve athletic performance, fitness, body composition and training. Knowing what foods to eat, and when to eat them is a fundamental aspect of performance and recovery. Sports Nutrition

A Sports Nutrition Consult incorporates all aspects of nutritional assessment including Clinical Assessment (signs and symptoms of nutritional deficiency) with Biochemical Assessment (pathology reports) and Dietary Assessment (analysis of your usual dietary intake).

Clinical Assessment

Physical observation is a very important aspect of nutritional assessment as signs and symptoms of nutritional deficiency can be uncovered.

Biochemical Assessment

Pathology results can reveal overt nutritional deficiencies as well as suboptimal nutrient levels.  They also give us a great insight as to how well the body is functioning in terms of thyroid, reproductive and adrenal health.

Dietary Assessment

Analysing a person's dietary intake may alert us to insufficient intake of certain nutrients that may be contributing to poor health.

Body Composition Analysis

We use the VLA QUADSCAN machine, a body fat/lean analyser which is listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods as a Medical Device.  The test is quick, non-invasive and painless and involves attaching leads to the hand and foot.

Our dietary advice is very much in line with Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) guidelines which we then tailor to suit individual needs.
